Description
Well who would have thought it - the Tour de France is kicking off, not in France at all, but in Yorkshire in the UK! And it is passing within around 2 miles of where I live, so I will be cheering them on tomorrow.
Victoria was also getting excited about it, so she was inspired to take a bike ride of her own, through the picturesque scenary of Howie Farkes' Country Road 2! I chose this as it is not unlike some of the scenary that "Le Tour" will be passing through over the next couple of days.
I hope you like my little tribute - thanks for looking! All rendered in Carrara of course.

Fantastic creation !
Great work - very dynamic!
Nice setup Phil, realistic pose, lighting, but the tires could be lighter.... They look too dark.
Really exceptional image, definitely one of the best I've seen in the gallery. The whole scene is rendered, no background ?
Yes, all rendered. I cannot take credit for the scenary, it is from Country Lane 2 by HowieFarkes, he does some incredible Carrara scenary! Like Vue (but unlike Poser and Daz Studio), Carrara supports instancing where you can have multiple copies of the same object at virtually no memory overhead, enabling very complex scenes like this.
Absolutely impressive, Carrara really looks like a jolly good software...
Great action scene!!!!
Wow! Beautiful render. (A little motion blur and you'd have to look twice to see it's not a photo.)
Very exciting! Hope she keeps her balance with all that exposed skin
Very cool scene and scenery. Go girl go!!!
Nice Render, well done!! And Enjoy the race!
Nice action! Beautiful render!
E by Gum, great image I am off to the the caravan and race pass up the A61 in about half an hours time. Leeds is absolutely buzzing at the moment.
Fantastic setting and beautiful biker, outstanding work!
Fantastic made!! There is not anymore much different in between your render and a photo!! Great work Phil!!
Very cool.
That's excellent. Beautifully composed. Inspired.
LOVE that set. I like Vickie's look - quite determined to get all conditioned for the event LOL! That must be quite an exciting event so close to your house - hope you had an awesome time!
