a helicopter waiting to be restored at Cavanaugh Flight Museum at Addison TX
if you rent a rental car, it would be to your health to wipe it down with anti-bacterial wipes. a news program here tested 25 cars and 22 had very nasty bacteria on the steering wheels and door handles. I am glad I drove on my long trips in my own vehicle

LOL... Fantastic capture my friend !!!
I would love to see it in its restored state. That is a very good tip about the sterilising Richard.
lots too restore on this one. cool old plane.
Cool, outstanding capture!
Very nice work on this capture, Richard. I'd love to visit this museum one day.
Looks like this old helicopter could use some TLC! I remember as a kid watching these choppers pulling Mercury and Gemini astronauts out of the sea after splashdown! Thanks for sharing.
Very cool shot, Richard! And oh my God on the rental cars. Dude, I have a thing about that. Like at work. I watch people lick their fingers and count their money all day long! Please never do that! Lady came in here the other day. This weird rash all over hands. Guess what? I wear work gloves constantly when dealing with the public. Saves my ass every time because that is incredibly unsettling.
Very cool capture hopefully this will be restored soon
yep that's a fixer-upper :-)
Cool shot. It looks like the front end is gone from this angel. Ugh about the germs!
Shining shot.
Cool shot !!!
Interesting capture! Well done!
Fantástica foto Richard o aeroplano é fabuloso.++++++++5
Will be a beautiful dragonfly when restored.Excellent capture About very nasty bacterias....they found them where the people put their hands. Can you imagine what is elsewhere?
great capture
I remember seeing a show that said that computer keyboards are dirtier than toilets! And then there are the shows that take the special lights into 5 star hotel rooms to show all the 'stuff' all over the beds, floors.....walls.....ceilings! This Westland Wessex will come up a treat!
Very nice, helicopter or autogyro!!!!!
wow thanks for telling use about rental cars
Wonderful shot!
Too much use of antibacterials breeds resistant strains, plus avoiding all contact with micro-organisms can de-tune the immune system.
Looks like an old Sikorsky 55. Hopefully it will get the TLC it deserves. I'll have to remember to take antibacterial wipes next time I have to rent a car. Thanks for the info!
Nice capture of this old relic. As for germs, I read years ago about the ones on a grocery basket handle at the grocery stores have the most accumulated germs of just about any objects due to the massive people traffic over flow at stores, lol. Funny thing is we all were doing fine before modern technology came up with all these figures and we all started worrying about it, so maybe the human minds creative though just might be the biggest germ of all, lol. Awesome capture though.
It looks like a Westlands like they used in the Military in the middle east in the 50s. I first saw one when I was 4 in 1957! Showing my age! lol
Great shot!
cool
Yep, some type of Sikorsky (or Westland as they were know here).. In for the long haul I think Rob
This looks so strange without rotors on top!
