I always wonder how you get so close & they never dissappear :o) Super capture!!
Amazing capture Andrea. God bless.
great zoom (I would have cropped the image if it was mine)
It won't take any more cropping, it is only one fifth of the original already!
Nature at work... nice capture of predator and prey. Well caught!
Great capture Andrea
Excellent shot Andrea. Big snack for a little fly :)
A great capture of this vicious insect, still I suppose it has to live!!
Excellent find and capture, amazing what is going on around us if we only take the time to look a little closer and discover those special shots... macabre insect lunch or others.
Stunning pair of images. A rather scary looking robber fly. I'm guessing this was not a friendly encounter.
Both captures are excellent !!! Great work 5++++
Cool bug and shot!
I would have assumed a mosquito and squished him, I'm afraid...excellent capture!
Another fine macro of nature at work. The Robber Fly must be in dire straits if has to resort to munching on bland leaves for sustenance, Andrea.
always a great find : a robberfly with prey
Fantastic closeup.
Very cool, never seen this species before.
Excellent clarity on the FlickR side and also a good look at the veining in those leaves!
