CLUE! No it's nothing electrical. It's famous 'associates' were recently involved in something 'shocking'....but not electrical! They drew their power from a mixture of charcoal, sulphur, and potassium nitrate. NOTE: I don't mean to make jokes about the deplorable situation I am referring to............I am just trying to make the clue cryptic as people are guessing it's an electrical appliance. It's not.

Well your clue is explosives, e.g. gunpowder, I'm guessing (having got neck ache from looking upside down), that it might be a holster for a pistol. Don't care if I'm wrong - I like posts like this one :)
