Description
Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
Okay, I know these crowd scenes are rather banal and pedestrian compared to my other Faire postings, with their buxom wenches, Willy Wonka, falcons, et al, but since I was completely exhausted and aching after the visit, I'm going to make up for it by squeezing just about every photo I took into this series, barring repeats.
A ZOOM always pays dividends.
Cheerio.

I can't help noticing how big a lot of the folk at the Fayres are! Terrific candid shots.
I think from the look of things they should charge their entrance fee by the pound... I'm fascinated by the sheer variety of constume styles worn by those who bothered to dress up. I like the look of the warrior maiden in her cross-gartered fur leggings and short shirt/loinwrap or whatever it is she's wearing. It's probably quite comfortable in the heat (aside from the fur), and those horns would come in handy for opening plastic bags and running off ill-mannered ruffians. Great variety of humanity in these excellent shots, Harry! And life isn't all about comely wenches, after all!
excellent photographs !!! your series is also complete !!!

I have to say, first shot, girl on the left....MORE! What an outfit....just! Excellent range of shots mate! Rob
