We still have a Ena Harkness in out front garden it's been there about 45 years. Lovely shot Andrea.
Marvelous flower!
Very lovely rose Great capture
Oh my, what a splendid beauty, as your photo is fantastic too, Andrea. Really impressing.
Beautiful rose, colors and capture!
Gorgeous capture!
I only became aware of these a few years ago. They are gorgeous as your image shows and have become one of my favorites.
Beautiful colour.
I don't think I've ever seen a rose this orange...beautiful and a beautiful capture, as well. :)
Truly beautiful rose and colour. These days so many hybrid roses have no scent to them. Great captures.
Wow, that is gobsmackingly stunning! Love the colour!
That's such a beautiful color. I can see why it was a winner!
Happy to see that you rose to the occasion in this delicate macro of the demure rose, Andrea. The zoom was overwhelming in its size.
This is a lovely capture and golden color BUT I also like the soft pink version on the FlickR side! This is a double winner for sure!!!!!
You think other roses see this rose's name, and mutter, "well excuuuuuuuuuuse meeeeeee!" (Or "nyaaa nyaaa nyaaa...") The flickr shot is a big in our face bloom, dominating our visual field, and quite beautiful. This has more space around it, but is as beautiful. It's positioned beautifully in the shot; you postworked the background, again, into droplets of hue; and the deep oranges in the shadows is just beautiful. A beautiful piece, Andrea, and cropped and composed just right for the subject.
