Description
I love the colour of this one: it is similar to another variety called 'Turkish Delight'.

what a special color this flower has !
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Excellent, now you have me wanting a Fry's Turkish delight, Although sadly not now made by Fry.
Poppies are so beautiful & look so delicate!!
I'm with you on the color ... it's delightful! The deep purple of the dark splotches and the naughty bits is gorgeous, and if I were a pollinating insect, I would be there straightaway! :)
Beautiful color!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Delightful details in zoom and an amazing color combination!
Very beautiful flower
Oh, I love this too! I may have to find some of those for my planter garden. Well captured!
Cool lighting and texture of the bloom. I love poppies with their crepe paper petals.
A pale pink poppy...wow!! Just beautiful!!
What a beauty. The dark bits look like chocolate on my monitor which just makes this more attractive.
what a marvelous color this poppy is! love the texture of the petals .. like slightly wrinkles tissue paper,
A beautiful frontal shot, the petals look like crepe, and the hue is gorgeous against all that dark green. (And I like what you did with the background, breaking it into small droplets of hue with all that black around them.) The stamens are beautiful and detailed, and of course their hue stands out beautifully against the petals. A splendid shot; and with that top-right petal bent over, it's like it's wearing a hat, or has bangs. Beautiful flower work, Andrea.
beautiful macro, great colors and details
