Sometimes I wish the story were more exciting and "action- packed" - but you must set the scene before the action, right?

Cool idea and work....
Excellent work! I bet the time traveler thingie is involved.
I think setting the scene is very important, if it is all action based it becomes boring in a different way. Intriguing stuff, love the expressions particularly the gobsmacked look on the droids face in panel 4. BTW- small criticism- in panel 1 you really need to put the narrative bit above where the guy is talking for it to read properly. I know it can be a proper pain fitting the speech bubbles and what not on the page, especially in a dialogue heavy sequence such as this. But on the whole you've created a really intriguing story- I see your using your own book freebie as well. Cool.
