Yes it sure does.. nice capture :)
Interesting shot, I reckon it could do with stripping and a few licks of paint.
Good eye Mike!
No doubt! People actually have permission to paint the hydrants here, I think. They actually had a competition once too. It was a patriotic thing. Red, white, and blue. My sisters did one. It came really nice with white stars around the top. They didn't win though. The competition was obviously fixed. LOL.
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Just slap on a new coat of paint and she's good to go! LOL! Looks like that's the standard procedure. :-) Hmmmm. I wonder what color we should paint it THIS time? If we chip away a little we can see what color we haven't used in a while. Sorry. I'm just in a humorous mood Mike. Thanks for sharing.
Are you sure it was working if they opened ((5++))
Great concept...:)))
seems they put a new cap on, but looks like the valve is frozen. superb shot
great capture
Sure looks like it needs some work. Looks like it was made in California.
rode hard and put up wet...
Let us all hope that with a new cap on this old hydrant - it will work if needed. I like the old fashion red hydrants!!!
I thought they would test these ever so often to make sure they haven't seized up. Looks like it does need some TLC.
I would be very surprised if that paint didn't have a very high lead content! Excellent capture. Funny how we try to cover things up the easy way sometimes. Sure shows what happens when you cut corners too often!
Should they ever repaint this, can you get a shot of it? Be interesting to see the before and after!
hope the water is not as bad. i've seen some rough ones myself..
Excellent texture capture.
good place for a little rustoleum
Poor ol' thing needs some lovin.
Wonderful textures and a great find.
Hope it won't be needed soon - great capture!!!
Great sense of image !
I'd say it would work Mike, but if it didn't and there happened to be a fire and subsequent litigation, it would cost the local authority dearly. This is a great capture Sir!
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Well seen, great shot!
Great colourful capture!
It is a mess, Mike.
Oh dear, I have to agree!!! x
Superb textures... but in poor condition! Nice shot!
