Very calm and serene..just as one imagines a Japanese garden
Indeed lovely...:)))
Another beautiful photo of this famous garden with a splendid transparency of its waters!!!
A very attractive place.
wow the plants seem to float above the water!!! Wonderfully picture!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well done, Harry; another stunning shot from this beautiful spot. I know I've mentioned it before, but I do really love that clear water. At our garden the water is a dense thick green, and very hard to even see the fish until they stick their mouths above the surface to beg for food.
Beautiful view of a very clear pond, Koi spotted swimming there as well.. Neat shots Harry. Rob
You know, your 3-a-day posts have really given us a chance to see the wide range of your photography: It's not that we didn't see it before, but the frequency of 3-a-day brings it home in a much more compressed way. And your series, coming much more frequently now, have a greater continuity. I'm really happy the rules changed here, and you started doing this: It's been a festival, in your gallery...One of the treats is to see this series continue. This is another broad shot from this series, lots of water and open space---as some of your shots are about the packed and opulent thickness of the garden. And you have a diagonal feel here, the lilies coming at us in-line from the upper right. And, as denise points out, the water's clarity is wholly visible, along with the shadows. Clear and beautiful. And the composition moves away, in the other angle, with the bridge and trees going perpendicular to the lilies. And the two people on the bridge are all we need to root it in humanity; and their colors are wonderful accents. Another gentle beauty from this series, and serene too.
