Description
This picture is taken in our garden, I've never seen this butterfly before.
And when I looked for it in the book, it says that it is a moth, which also flies by day,
but he does not fly further north than up to South Limburg (where we live).
He's pretty big, and not shy. I mean, I could come very close, it even didn't noticed me.
Although, it sits not still for long, but that's what butterflies never do, huh?
And I could make a few nice shots of it.
The wingspan is 30 à 40 mm.
Latin name: Siona lineata.
Dutch: Vals Witje.
Thank you very much for your visit, dear friends.
I now go outside with my camera, looking if I can find anything interesting. :)
