Description
Ye olde picket fence.
Captured 4/8/14, very early in the AM, on my way home from the 99+cent store.
Even though I've posted similar shots of this scene before, I have no self control in clicking away when coming upon this house, with its frontal myriad of patterns and repetition. Of course, if there is no bright sunlight at that time I just keep walking. And, I was aiming for as much contrast as possible without going to extremes in this presentation, so no comments on overexposure please.
Ciao, baby.

I love the beautiful contrast great shot !!!!!!!!!!!!
very amazing pictures...sp^lendid game between lightened and shadows !!!
Wow, between the stripes of the fence and its shadows and those checkerboard brick pavers this is quite a lively set of shots, Harry; I see no sign of overexposure whatsoever. I do see fantastic POVs and composition, well done!
Terrific pics
Yeah, with Denise, I don't see overexposure either. The early morning light is intense, yes, but this isn't overexposed at all. If you had glare to deal with, you've removed it without creating any problems. Your shadows are deep and saturated, as so many of your shadows are (in your shadow shots). And you've caught them mingling with the patterns of the tiles---very nice, Harry; and I guess you can only do this at certain times of each day. But there are also shadows in the fence itself, mingling with the lights. And of course you have your montage-sense, giving us two views of (I assume) the same front lawn; and putting each in an opposite direction. More of your play, not only of light and dark and form against form, but of deep blue shadows against all the hues they encounter. Another musical and very sharp portrait of shadows and multiple forms from you...
