Description
Made with Apophysis.
The title comes from an older pop-group, called "Earth and Fire".
Around the year 1970 they were very popular in Holland.
In 1971 they made a song titled: "Storm and Thunder",
from which you see the link underneath.

At that time I loved the singer of that group, called Jerney Kaagman.
Although there were other songs from the group which I liked better than this one,
I chose for this song because of the specific title.
Thank you very much for your look :)

Awesome fractal artwork Mies, excellent done.
awesome composition ! what a superb beauty here...Mies, to answer your question, I do not know how to use layers, and all my "mixed medium" are made on a purely Apophysis fractal image and changes directly with 'Photo Filter' or 'Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X1' ! beautiful composition ... I remember this group!
very nice
Prachtig werk en kleuren.
earth wind and fire, aussi,on dirait qu'il y a une legere brise sur l'image!
Apparently this band got past me in the early 70s I would have remembered the young lady who sang lead, very good. They remind me a lot of another Band of the same time with an amazing Female Lead named Anne Haslam, the name of that band was Renaissance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mi_QCi4rjZM&index=2&list=PLC0B27907B881D9DC Peace

Just one word Jacomina - Spectacular.
fantastic dear!!!
The song title reminds me of an old South African friend who told me about "Donder und Bliksem." :P I don't know if it's the same in Dutch as it is in Afrikaans! LOL! Either way, this is absolutely gorgeous, and I can see why you thought of fire. It's beautiful!
Well done.
