Description
A woman of obvious distinction, wandering about the grounds, captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
Since it was rather dark at this spot, I postwork brightened her to stand out amongst the hoi polloi. I always use this method in lieu of a flash.
She didn't speak either, following the policy of the others.
Much, much better via ZOOM.
Toodles.

what a caracteristic portrait of a Lady on this Renaissance Faire !!! splendid shot, great mood...
Nice catch. I was at the same faire on the last weekend. (5/17/14).
wow this is cool out fit . lovely lady
Now that's a great face. Great clarity. Detail is superb. And her costume and smile...wow.
Very classy!
Fantastic capture and very beautiful lady.
Quite well-bred indeed, a lady of some quality. What an excellent portrait you've got here, your postwork is superb!
Ah yes, you can tell this is Nobel lady of some considerable standing in polite society... lol Great shot mate! Rob
Another fine portrait from this series, the woman has a very knowing and intelligent smile, she's smiling but she's also somewhat private. A fine piece of human portraiture. Nice capture of her gown too, with that striking brown against the red of her flowers. And the rest is softened just enough to let her stand out wholly. Fine postwork working against the darkness...you brightened without grain or other artifacts or other distortions. A really fine portrait, Harry. Revealing yet self-contained (ie, she isn't giving away too much). I really like the way she looks into your camera. Fine faire work, once more. I've been catching up in several places this morning, and I have to stop now because I have to do errands. But I'll be back again for more. The new computer is up, and I'm getting the net on it; but it'll be another day or two before I start using it. But I've had none of the hassles you had---only the tedium of transfer...Anyway, even for 3 'quickies', lol, it's a pleasure to be back here. Back for more soon...
