Description
This is a piece that I pulled from a cooling system of a computer. It is made of aluminum and when struck by the various objects being slide around,it produces pleasing sounds.I also constructed the velvet lined display box using circuit boards. Thank you for having a look and any comments.

Wonderful technology ... What is its use? ... Does it work?
It really does work and sounds nice. Also,it is just fun to play these soft ringing, bouncey sounds.
A cool and very creative construction. I would like to hear how it sounds.
Cool music box. No turning ballet robot ? :-)
Definitely the most random title ever- and an improvised musical instrument-divine!

A fascinating piece of work.
Thanks for the comment. This piece is now sold, but yesterday,I picked up some more heat sinks. They are different shapes, but they sound real nice.I will just have to find other ways that they can be played.
That's a really brilliant piece of re-cycling! Very imaginative.
I did some work on another heat sink that I have in preparation for an upcoming show at the gallery. It is a bit different and am making a base for it using circuit boards and other parts. Thanks for the comment.
Such a clever idea brought to realization. you could establish a heat-sink orchestra!
