Description
This is one of two wrought iron chandeliers in the Mural Room at the courthouse. Each one weighs about 1,000 pounds. The Mural Room's four walls are completely covered with a colorful set of murals depicting the area's history & industries & there are many other interesting architectural features, such as the painted & gilded ceiling beams you can see a little of in this photo. The room is used for weddings, but (despite the large chandeliers) is kept fairly dark & no flash photography is allowed (to preserve the murals). Please zoom...
