Description
Gyromitra esculenta
Another specimen from this little colony by my greenhouse
I am struggling with the sizing in PSP, although getting used to some other aspects of the programme. So here is another I made earlier!
I will get CS3 back soon, Hooray!

Strange looking.
They are funny looking, almost macabre!!!
wow; they are funny and cool, and beautifully colored
Fascinating. When I saw the thumbnail, my first thought was of undersea life - corals & seaweed. And, at full size, those are very brain-like convolutions...
I'm with Claude. Sea life is what first came to mind. Such a fascinating bit of life!
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
A very tastey looking shot!!
Bizzare !!! Special and great capture.
Liver and bacon makes a real tasty shot Andrea. Have you tried downloading a fast image resizer from the web? That's what I use and you don't lose any of the original pic.
I might try that, Thankyou, Jeff.
Ah yes.. a fascinating fungi... fantastic close-op. If you need any help regarding resizing in PSP I can give you a few tips, it's not as difficult as it may first appear to be, you need to make sure you have some settings correct before you start or it can make things a little more tricky.
Other than the specific color, what I imagine a brain or intestines might look like, Andrea. I don't believe I've ever seen sea life comparable to this. In any case, it evinces something of an extraterrestrial nature. Oh, and a fine photo of the faux morel.
Very cool capture
Yes, it made me think of something undersea also...a strange and wonderful fungus!
cool shot
A crackerjack image. I still think they are aliens from outer space. I suppose the "morel" of the story is always be true to yourself (sorry, channeling Jeff for a second).
Great image.
Looks like something from a science fiction film.
..hehe, had the same problems with system change last year. its not fun but you will manage this :-) beautiful brown fungi - have similar ones in green in my garden.
A lovely capture on the carpet of moss. It looks like "brain jelly"! :)
