Drop dead gorgeous! Is it some sort of Mallow? I really don't know.
I don't know the name, but what I do know is that it is a gorgeous flower and a very wonderful photo :)
Superb capture my friend. I also do not know the name of this type of flower. God bless.
Glorious! A beautiful bloom, superb composition, and the color is just lovely.
that is a purple flower of course! very sharp macro
Looks like a form of wild geranium though with wildies the petals are usually veined. May be a mallow as Andrea points out. Could also be a variety of wild petunia. Hard to say mate, good catch though.
A real gorgeous bloom Jeff, a lovely shot!
great Jeff, looks like an exotic parachute
I have no idea but I kike the clarity and details in zoom
Wonderful and very creative work
it is beautiful and that is enough for me Great capture
The buds and growth looks like anemones, but the central bits are different. I can't see any mallows that are that colour, and most of the geraniums I looked at had veiny petals, and not those central bits again. So sorry, I'm stumped too. I would have said blue hibiscus, but the centers are different again. Pretty, I wonder what it is? Great capture!
it is lovely
Nice shot and compo!
Lovely flower and compo.
I think it might be: ABUTILON (VITIFOLIUM). From what I can see in your photo the leaves and buds plus the flower look like that might be it. It was fun searching for it. Thanks for the beautiful photo and the fun challenge. Maybe the next time you go to the garden you could ask the owners. :)
Whatever it is it is gorgeous
Geranium nodosum or tuberous geranium perhaps? very wonderful plant and picture!
So beautiful Jeff
Great details Jeff. A superb shot!
Nice light and beautiful details here!
most beautiful "jump into the eye" ! ;o)

Could it be a violet?
Flower? lol No, sorry my knowledge of flowers is not good at all mate but I love its colour which is the whole point isn't it? Well shot. Rob
