Description
Love me tender,
love me dear,
tell me you are mine.
I'll be yours through all the years
till the end of time.
Love Me Tender lyrics by Ken Darby and Vera Matson
Another in my Brigitte's Roses Collection, this time featuring a rose named Elvis, in pastel shades of pink and green, and sprinkled with raindrops. I was, and still am, a big Elvis fan, absolutely love his music. When my husband, LJ (he was a singer/songwriter) and I first met, we went to a New Year's Eve party and he surprised me by singing one of my favorite Elvis songs, which was 'I Want You, I Need You, I Love You'. LJ sounded very much like Elvis and I immediately fell in love with his voice, and the rest of him later. :o) Special thanks to Brigitte for sharing this beautiful Elvis rose with me. Hope you enjoy. :o)
