Fantastic capture my friend !!!
Great shot Steve, and with the 70TH Anniversary of D Day coming up too eh
Still looks very imposing after all these years, wouldn't like that pointed in my direction ! ~Cheers~
Nice work on this very cool capture, Steve.
an excellent photography...but a dangerous large-caliber gun...of destruction !!!
Historically, fixed fortifications of this type have been, for the most part, a waste of resources. Few were ever fired in anger and no such defenses ever stood up to a determined naval assault.
Oh Yes we have been there many a time , a great shot
Wow, that's really cool!
looks big. cool shot

War machine at her end . Nice picture ((5++))
Wow! I have never seen one of these live and upfront! What a humongous destroyer piece! I can't imagine how much it weighs... and looks so intact, and in the most perfect condition...ready as ever to inflict damage! Yikes!
A great improvement over the 18th century cannons. (: cool shot.
Impressive gun, good to see it's preserved. Great shot (excuse the pun).
