Description
Captured 3/19/14, early on an overcast morning, about a mile from my heavenly haunt.
A strip mall (also called a shopping plaza, shopping center, or mini-mall) is an open-air shopping mall where the stores are arranged in a row, with a sidewalk in front. Strip malls are typically developed as a unit and have large parking lots in front. They face major traffic arterials and tend to be self-contained with few pedestrian connections to surrounding neighborhoods.

Sorry I'm late with this - the first collage was posted 3/27/14 - but I forgot about it due to the tons/tonnes of other photos I have accumulated over the years. Hence, I will try to continue this series at a more rapid pace. I have many more of these variations to go. Incidentally, if you wish to see the original, you will have to visit my first collage.
Bye.

Very nice work
splendid series I like very much, when you are making those styles !!! splendid various result ! Great series here also !
(Sorry about the xtra ebots, my server was fluttering on and off...) I was just about to leave when I saw you posted this, so here I am back and looking, and enjoying! I remember the last montage, and what you'd done with them; and this time you've branched into abstract patterns and post-photographic patterns. I love what you've done here. The arcade makes a great starting point, doesn't it---because of the repetition and all the possibility for variation...And btw, I thought the original was worthy by itself, too. Well here you have a burnt top image, burnt in feel, a bit decayed. You follow that with what I assume is an inverted image, feeling like the interior of a subway station---I really like the lighting, and the grain on some of those surfaces. Then a soft mid-day one, with marine shadows and hues---those arcades feel that way at certain times of the day: recessed, restful, private. You could call this "the many moods of a strip mall arcade". And in the last two, you're branching into abstraction and strong manipulation: The lined one looks like it's viewed from behind a CIA office's blinds; or is seen on a computer scanning screen (for same): Futuristic. And in the final one, you're going into mirroring, fractionalizing, jutting, etc: Very creative, Harry. You're exploring all the possibilities of these very formal structures, getting into their mystery, recesses, geometries, all of it. Happy to see them back---this is a very creative piece of work!
I don't think I could pick a favourite here, Harry; they all are wonderful. This particular strip mall is a really nice base to start from, with the great POV you shot it from and the excellent composition of the arches and the diagonal. The filters are just different icing on a delicious cake! Great work!!!
Harry, this is a very nice collage you came up with. These type malls are now very popular in the areas that surround me.
