Description
This is the same piece of driftwood as in my last post, but from a different angle (looking into the crack on the right from which the driftwood seemed to emerge) & of course form much closer). Lots of detail when zoomed & lots of potential for imagining creatures of all sorts lurking in the woodgrain...

Your driftwood shots are marvelous, and they show how such different elements can look like they're made of the same material. When you posted the shot with people in it, it really brought home how big this is. And in this shot, the wood and stone are almost of the same material, same family. You got the swirls and lines and crevices and so on...all part of a big spread of energies. And I love the "opening" back there, and the way the light illumines it. (If it's an actual opening at all...) Beautiful shot, and I loved the series. I'll be back for more next time around, but it's always a pleasure to follow your intense and highly fertile eye and heart as you capture whatever you see through your day...
