Description
I have always wondered what was eating the leaves of the Morning Glory growing outside the front door.
On Saturday I turned over a leaf and was amazed to find this! A bit of reseach revealed that it is a Aspidomorpha tecta (Fool’s Gold Beetle).
I have never seen one before so this was a wonderful find for me!
As my son says it looks like a contact lens with a 'flying squirrel' on its back!
Take a look at the April Forum Challenge Insects when you get a chance.
