Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Excellent close-up and the other image shows how it could be possible with the wider angle to potentially get two or three shots out of it by cropping. Out of interest what resolution do you shoot in?
Full view is a revelation. Wonderful image!
Such a beautiful and clear shot of one of my fav subjects. :-)
Wonderful find! They found one of these trees at Juanita Bay and made a big deal of saving it and giving it space. Excellent shot!
Never heard of spindle trees, but you've captured the lichen beautifully & the DOF is excellent. And I agree with Tara - zooming is definitely worth it...
I am noticing things like this on my walks!!
Nice shot and a great selection of lichen ,my spindle tree resides near a ditch and a biodisk not so exotic but it does have a nice dogs tooth violet under it.
Very nice colored lichen
I'm liken it!
Very nice close-up and the other shot is great as well. just looked up this one - very cool information
Keen color and selective focusing in this shot of the main subject matter, Andrea.
I'm 'LIKEN' it.....................................
I always like seeing your lichen images. You do them so well and, since Southern California is a semi-desert, I never get to see these little guys.
Excellent use of DOF here Andrea
Love the colors and detail in this shot.
another wonderful lichen shot! you capture these and the mosses so beautifully!
The clarity of the FlickeR version, from a few posts ago, is magnificent! This is also a beautiful capture!
