was your hair still attached to your head? outstanding painting and pardon the pun
My hair wasn't attached at the time, but I did see pictures of a Japanese Sumi artist that painted with his own hair that was.Nice flowing lines.
Really fantastic job on this cool work of art, Jim. I love the way you brought a Cobble-Bot to life here.
A great color combination my friend. So cool that you are still using your own recycled handmade paper and recycling your own hair!
Wow - your own paper! Now, that's awesome! I love this fun painting, and the fact you used your own hair in the brush really makes this art a part of you - so cool! I don't think I have enough hair left for more than a #00 liner! LOL
Great work and cool concept hair today - paint tomorrow?
i like the work on this, Jim..
Very nice work :)
cool
It looks great. I like that you're using your own recycled handmade paper and a brush made of your own hair. Very creative and above all environmentally friendly. Excellent work.
A wonderful self sufficient way of working! Cobble bot is off for a holiday in Scotland I see.
He lives in a green world. Very nicely painted
The green represents a circuitboard. Thanks for commenting.
Fantastic and original creation!
Wonderful and creative and ecological composition, Jim. A nice portrait indeed. The dark edge really give it a sense of depth. Nice details and ideas.
unsual art indeed:)
Fantastic work... Wonderfully done !
very wonderful work here
Well done... great to see this piece... there is more than a little part of you in this work... I like the way it's an extension of the subject matter you enjoy constructing. As you can probably see from my image I could not do this myself unless I wanted to recreate the old time Mr baldy image with iron filings for hair and beard in a vacuum pack... remember those?.. with a little wand with a magnet on the tip you could give him a hair and a beard. I could use clipping to emulate the iron filings.lol
Of course I remember Wooly Willy.I had lots of fun with him and always enjoyed magnets.
