WHISPERS OF REPOSE by Dieter Carlton
a poem for which the artist wrote as follows ...
It started as a windy day
With gusts that caused the trees to sway
But as the winds began to die
A sheet of clouds would blot the sky
They gathered quick and very low
It looks like it's about to snow
And then I could not hear a sound
As snow began to mask the ground
But when the dusk would greet the night
My lantern through a window bright
Would break the darkness to expose
The falling WHISPERS IN REPOSE
