Description

When I'm working at my computer, I can see our ornamental plum tree through the window. It was close to sunset today & the light filtering through the new blossoms looked particularly radiant, so I grabbed my camera, went outside & took this photo. Sometimes you don't have to go very far to discover photo opportunities... Please zoom

Very beautiful, our fruit trees aren't so advanced.

Superb shot. I love the way we can find beauty all around us if we just use our eyes to look and notice.

My favorite time of year, and flowering trees are one of the biggest reasons why. This is lovely!

I agree. My favorite place to photograph is in my back yard.

Some of the best shots are right there at home; this is very lovely, with the sun lighting the soft petals...well done!

A fine golden hour shot with diffuse shadows and a really great play with radical depth of field to really make the flowers pop.

Simple, beautiful and delicate. Plum blossoms lend themselves to "soloing," don't they; and you did that very sensitively here. The background hues set off the blossoms very well, too...And nice of you to leave your work to go out and capture this! Sometimes photos call, but I don't want to listen; and I've missed some wonderful sights because of that. Delicate capture, Claude.
