Looks like a high off the ground shot of a mountain range. Nicely seen and captured Andrea!
wow what a difference between this and the flickr version: The flickr is like lacquered wood, and this is like a real beach. Wonderful contrasts. This reminds me of "my lake" so much. This could be an aerial shot of a huge desert area, with shallow waterways and lots of silt---it has such a geological feel to it. And the colors are muted, but rich. A real zero-in to the patterns of water on sand; and very nice tones too. I feel totally at home with this, even though the Ocean is huge compared to our lake. And I love the contrast between the two shots too. Both are beautiful. Andrea my server is sputtering, and I'll come back for more in a short time. Just did a few now, but I'll do more. (Your most recent one is shouting to me to comment on it. I'll get there soon...)

Yes, yes, yes!! You've captured the feel of the beach at low tide, with all the brilliantly reflected light that goes along with it. Fantastic!! Love it!!
