January's Writer's Gallery Challenge was New Beginnings. I was a bit too busy with our own new beginning to write about it, but the topic stuck with me. (Thanks, Jeff!)

Beautifully written and so true. Finding the line between fear and excitement. Always a challenge. But the shoes, yea, still working on that. My shoes are forever in a state of disarray.

I love you words, if we can take really always time to start over, or a next attempt, until we are satisfied and able to oversee our growth in making small steps, which will always make 1 large (of a new beginning). :) Have a nice new weekend, dear one ;-)

You depicted wonderfully the challenge of the ''NEW'' and how emotions can be just separated by an almost unseen line. You wrote deep thoughts in simple words ! Your poetry it is a lesson about incentive, yet, you gave a 'way out'--- the choice of to tie a shoe, easy or not, will be always a challenge, but if you don't do it...you never will know 'how' !! Thank you, Tara! Perfect Light and colours and the lines that intersect, are significant too.
this isn't a comment yet, but I just wanted to tell you that I'll do your most recent writing soon, Tara. I just haven't done writing this time around (except for one artist, who I hadn't commented on since August). I'll be back for this and a few of your other writings soon. Just wanted to say that, because I've read all your writing and been taken-in by it all, along with your music and, of course, thoughts...I just need to get away from visuals first to do it. So this comment---like Tibetan mandalas---will be destroyed! And replaced by a 'real' comment soon... (If you don't know Tibetan mandalas, they spend hours making these intricate madalas the size of a huge table, made from the most beautiful colored sands and pebbles; and then---upon completion---they take big brushes and whoosh the thing into the air, to symbolize the impermanence of everything...and then they start all over again. That puts my comment in a high light, doesn't it? When basically I'm just saying I'll be back soon? But I'll replace this comment soon...)
