Description

Goats on the cliff above the huts at Boscombe. We could see eight. They are surprisingly hard to see unless they move. See a closer view of a couple of them Here

In the Alps of Switzerland they put bells on the livestock...thank goodness...I would have been mowed over because I did not see the goats...but I heard them. :)

Cool capture! We have people who rent their herd of goats to clear out an area of brambles and other stuff that's too hard to remove otherwise seems that brambles don't bother them at all

This is a arduous way how they must seek their food but goats are good climbers. Superb capture, I like the colorful huts.

You aren't kidding - they are hard to see unless they are acting the goat. I like the beach huts.

I like this image a lot. It shows the peace and nature that can be slotted(albeit briefly) into this wicked world.

I was going to tell you about Rent-A-Goat, but Mike beat me to it. It's a going business in Western Washington! This bunch looks more interested in napping than working, but I certainly can't fault them for that! :)

Two great captures, they will eat most things.. we have them up here too, if you visit Valley of Rocks at Lynton you will see many goats, been there for years... unfortunately the locals all seem to be happy to cull (kill) half of them because they have been getting into peoples gardens and eating flowers and vegetables..... because of a bad winter they have also been coming into the town. They have a contraception program going which needs more time rather than killing half the poor animals... disgusting... but some people like to advocate "Getting rid of" when it cuts into their little worlds and they don't like it.. especially council backed too. :-(

I was checking out the beach huts before I noticed the goat mowers. Nasty horns in the FlickR photo.

I'm guessing they are wild .. or domestics that have gone wild. Do they do anything to control over population? A really cool shot Andrea, love the colors of the beach houses. The flickr one is a wonderful capture, too.
