I love the freedom of this painting, really shines through and that is what art is all about seeing the zest and the interest of the artist in his/her brushstrokes. Acrylic is great to use.. so flexible.

People who haven't zoomed your work have missed a treat. Full-Size, this jumps out at us, even more than the beautiful smaller size. The tree is dark and twisted, it has a moody power and life. And its reflection scratches across the water in heavy, utterly alive brushstrokes. The ground under the tree is a patchwork of beautiful hues, a patchwork quilt---a very vital patch of land, in your hands. And you have these deep orange browns, and they stand out beautifully. Under a sweeping sky of subtle hues. Lots of space in this painting, lots of light---which balances the dark of the tree and its reflections. Finally, that tree has a lot going on in it: It has all these grays and reds; and your brushwork makes it seem like it exploded into the picture: It's very vital, dark and beautiful. A beautiful landscape, and your brushwork is so very vital, once more.
