so healthy and fresh !! (and.... no smoking, thank you)
Both shots are great
Brilliant shot, but afraid I don't like toads or frogs,
I am with pat40. Even after having hypnotherapy, not scared anymore but dont like. Lovely pic but glad NOT striding over my garden.
I like your toad! spring is near ;-)
Such lovely colors! A beautiful bit of garden life. :)
He looks quite healthy, I'm sure your garden is a great place for provenance!
WOW ! What a Beauty. Love the shiny skin it has and also the colors.
A great pic; warts and all
Great capture and it's good to have these guys in the garden in and around the pond.. they are friends of the garden, I know some people are scared of them but they are harmless. Always remember in that movie The Wicker Man when that shopkeeper popped one in her daughters mouth quickly to help soothe a sore throat!.. chuckle... not a good idea in practice... I know some people enjoy acid trips off the back of some species.. again highly dangerous as it's a deterrent from being eaten.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Nice find .
Both are excellent photos of this youngster!
The Hollow Toads are still in deep sleep in their beds, all covered up and cozy. Even procreation is far from their minds, or maybe not .. do toads dream in their long winter sleep? I love these little guys, and hate to mow out at the Hollow, because so many die in the mower blades .. but many get rescued, and moved into the woods.
