Description
A rather rare fungi which I believe to be Sarcoscypha Austriaca and is deadly poisonous.
Has any one else noticed the decline in other members posting and comments received lately??

i remember accross these at Otterhead last year Jeff. A lovely shot
Lovely shot Jeff,
Lovely colours, they are like little bits of steak!
My first three comments are from people I know personally - that's a first !!
Gorgeous! These are not the sort of colour I should put near my face....
Very nice

Very nice shot :)
Wonderful image
nice capture
Fantastic colors and shadow.Wonderful photo.
GREAT CAPTURE
comments seem to go in waves. maybe a busy time of year and people concerned about their taxes that is why I would never collect any mushrooms on my own. if one does not have the knowledge it is a quick way to die superb capture Jeff
Great capture! I don't plan on using those on my steaks anytime soon I've notice a decline as well
These are really lovely; I've never seen them here, and it's something I'd remember! Great capture!
I have never seen these before either. Thanks for sharing the info.
Wonderful light and colours. Certainly not suitable for decorating of cakes or something. I also noticed that since some weeks less is going on here.
Quite intersting fungi. Nice find :)
I have gone from posting just about every other day to maybe once a week. Life has been hectic. Also, this is the time of year that doesn't produce many interesting photographic subjects for me.
I've got to say I have never seen these before.. They look like a woodland type? Yes also I have noticed, I post less at the moment due to personal reasons but may increase soon.. I do comment in blocks though.. Great shot mate. Rob
shrooms like sweets! interesting capture! ;o)
never seen these, cool find
They look like little joint of ham. Nicely taken Jeff. And from a personal standpoint, I can't say I have really noticed to be honest, because I am one of the guilty party, having an old mum to care for, takes a lot of my time at present, so I must make apologies for my absence around here mate :(
Nice shot!
Gorgeous fungi cups Jeff - lovely red color on these fungi. My numbers are down but I assumed that it was the week off in January and being on a cruise last week. I'm just trying to catch up! :)
