A lovely bird; I have a flock of band-tailed pigeons that have moved into my garden. They are very easily spooked, however, and refuse to sit long enough for a decent portrait!

Beautiful bird, we have mourning doves, always in pairs. I've counted up to 5 pair in our Hedge Maple, a favorite perch for them.

beautiful bird and sharp focus I saved a dove a few years back that had fell out of the nest and every since them a couple doves are always hanging around my house. probably just a coincidence
