Description
This is the first of two pics taken in quick succession of a jackal catching his breakfast. The sand grouse come in their hundreds to drink every morning and is the main source of food for the local jackals.

Looking forward to the next shot!
Amazing shot!
I can almost hear the flapping as they try to escape; you'd think they would learn that the jackal hunts there, wouldn't you? Oh well, such is nature...wonderful capture!!
Nicely done!!
Those who are too daring become a feast, I'm sure! Wonderful capture.
The jackal certainly has the numbers in his favor!
