oh this is just the best. I had to do at least one portrait in these current sessions, and I just love this shot. Big beautiful smile, gentle connected gaze, you gave us a nice swath of his shirt with those beautiful reds blues and whites, the comfy old jacket---looks like an old friend---and that hat! The hat is the crowning touch. It's so dominating, but his smile is so infectious, it melts the mass of the hat, and, instead, the hat becomes soft and inviting. A wonderful portrait, you do have a knack for capturing essences in a moment: Love it. And very nice of him to let you post this for us, too.
