Description
Although I love what I do, create images for other people's books and stories, I try to do an image just for me/my folio about once every three - six months. Actually, I am discovering I HAVE to do a few 'just because'. Something in me takes hold, and I can't think on my commissioned work until I finish it.
Luckily, I get my own images done somewhat faster than I can get commissioned work done. It probably has to do with the fact that I don't have to take the time to get into someone elses head; the 'story' is already in my head itching to get out.
The image pops into my head quite suddenly. Then I have to bring to get it out within a relatively short timeframe, or I get grumpy ... lol.
Well, let me know what you think. I'm still sorta new to the sci-fi genre, as far as my images are concerned (I usually read fantasy but watch sci-fi films). I tend to gravitate toward fantasy, but my mental eye seems to be shifting ... Looking forward to your feedback. :D

Jules Verne would luv it and so do I!
Impressive Aidana creative and very cool sci-Fi I love it!!
A most spectacularly wonderful image! Bravo and many fine kudos on this super fine creation!
Gorgeous scenery. Perfectly executed image.
Cool and creative work! Bravo!
I can see how it got it's name. Wonderful work.
Outstanding composition. I like the mixture of science-fiction and the ships that seem to come from the Middle Ages. The airships blend fantastic into the scene. Excellent and very creative work!
What a wonderful imagination you have, I know where you are coming from when you do something different to the norm, my son midnight-stories does exactly the same thing, he just posted , saying the same thing. it puts a bit of fun in the hard work required. should do it more often , great work.
Amazing work!!!!!
I'm really behind on comments but, this morning (here in Europe !) I spent a very good time taking a look at your wonderful creations and enjoying each of them.
Wow Epic scene ! You've done an excellent job
now that image is a story in the making. Stick it under the right writers nose and you could have a book dedication in your name and the cover art already done !!
Thank you :D I added it to my pre-made cover art section on my website. Wish me luck :D
Wonderful Image and nice Website!!!
Fantastic Image and beautiful Work ****
Excellent.
Nice contrast scifi / pirates
Science Fiction and Fantasy are not mutually exclusive necessarily. I like also fantasy, not necessarily in the Middle Ages and much more interesting it will be if there are technical aids such as time portals or scanner for the Magical Aura ... Awesome picture, looks really photo realistic!
to cool
Wow this is amazing, very well done indeed my friend, hugs Jane xx
very creative work and composition
out-stan-ding!!! love it!! (seeing critical comments as well? I would add just a bit more sky on top, so it matches the 'rule of 3rds'. but it's great as it is!! IMHO it doesn't look strange at all, on the contrairy!!). very powerful compo, love the atmo!!
Fantastic work
Beautiful work. Aloha
Ух ты!!! Какое грандиозное фантастическое устройство, похожее на спрута. Очень красиво!
Very nice!
Great scifi render, I guess it's Vue or something , :)
Daz 4.6 pro ... I'm scared to even attempt Vue, lol. I can't even figure out Poser. ;P
