Description
After watching a nostalgic celebration of the Beatles first appearance in the U.S. on the Ed Sullivan Show 50 years ago last night on TV, I thought it would be appropriate to post a photo of a different kind of beetle. I was 13 years old at the time of their appearance & remember it as a very magical cultural moment. Tribute musical shows like this are often overhyped, bloated & disappointing, but this one was heartfelt & very entertaining with outstanding performances by various artists & by Paul & Ringo themselves...
