Very nice
It really has a wounded look with that reddish color where the split is.
Oh i like this shot very interesting photo here.
I had to do a double-take; Juanita Park has one that recently split and looks just exactly like this one! There are many there that have spread out low and long, sending out roots and making themselves into quite a tangled creation. Wonderful capture!
Just a terrific photo.
That took the weight of its shoulder.... Interesting shot. Aloha
Much better cropped as a close up. Nice detail. That does look like a fearsome wound. Sad about the chestnut but a wonderful dedication.
Bizarr and still beautiful. Fantastic find and shot!
ouch! amazing POV!!
A fantastic illustration and our pleasant land is going to look a whole lot different when Spring comes again.
And still it has its beauty. A very lovely shot :-)
Fantastic shot! :)
The trees do get a poor deal in this weather.
Sterling POV, depth, tracery, tree, branches, peat moss, and a myriad of dead bog stuff in this spectacular mood picture, Andrea.
Very beautiful captures Andrea - Mother Nature knows what she is doing
cool shot
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
wonderful photo !
A fine capture, too many tree's are coming down in these gales, some round here have fallen across roads in and out of the village and closed the road off for hours on end... let us hope this weather ceases soon.. too much rain and gales are softening roots and blowing some down.
I like the combination of vines and moss to bring life to a dying tree - even if the tree recovers in places and springs back into life!
Nice find Ive seen quite a lot of thees in this state.
I'm almost afraid to go out to the Hollow for fear of the trees we may have lost. We were there breifly a few weeks ago, and nothing around the camper had been damaged. This is a wonderful image, sad for the willow though. One of my favorite trees near the camper is a huge willow. It lost a branch last year, the branch was like a 30 or 40 year old tree!!
