A different and cool shot.
Great POV on this old tail dragger! Excellent!
One goes over my house most days (DC-3), and it goes so slowly it looks like it just might fall out of the sky.
Richard, this is a fantastic pov. I have listened to, and watched, thousands of these during the Berlin Airlift. I have also seen them in Southeast Asia, including a AC-47 in action at night, supressing VC activity at Marble Mountain near DaNang. We were just close enough to hear the three mini guns in action. I was also fortunate enough to have flown in one - from Dallas to Perrin AFB when we had water survival training at Lake Texoma, Texas in 1966. I was surprised how small they were inside!
Very good POV of that old plane.
If I am not mistaken, those were also called "Gooney Birds" When flying in turbulent air, the wings would flap.
A really cool angle on this old classic airplane! I've been inside a few 'Goonybirds' but never had the opportunity to fly on one.
Great POV
