Sorry I am behind on comments. Our house won't heat about 55 degrees F because it's an old, drafty house and we are freezing. My office is too cold to work in, so I spend my time wrapped in a blanket in my den praying for warmer weather.

Marvelous render! I understand your situation. We spent all of Wednesday pulling baseboards off and spraying foam insulation between the bottom plate and the concrete pad this place sits on. Friday night we discovered there was frigid air pouring in around every window and door trim and down one whole corner seam. We slapped tape over it all until the tape ran out. Today we bought a bunch more of the foam and will tear all the trim off the openings and foam the devil out of any gap. If that doesn't take care of it we have the ok of the landlord to dig deeper. If I were you, I'd probably be burning the furniture by now because I HATE being cold.
Well this would certainly warm things up a bit! What a lovely and WARM render for the upcoming Valentine's Day! She can be my Valentine any day! Wonderful work, Sherrie! Brrr... That does not sound like much fun in the winter! This basement gets down to 62 when it's really cold out - we have to crank the heat way up to get it up to 68 or 70, and Jolene roasts upstairs. But 55? Ewwww. I feel for you, my friend! I can't wait for warmer weather - I'm sick of all this cold, myself!
