Description
After a gap in production, I just finished another book trailer scene for 'A Wandering Warrior' ... I named this one 'The Chase'.
There are six images in this series, but like the others, I am doing them out of order ... lol. This one is actually the first scene for the trailer.
Biggest challenge with this one? Having to repaint all of my custom textures after the doctors ordered me to unplug my computer during one of those blue-screen windows configuration updates. You know, the one that says "Do not unplug" during the process.... lol. Being that I was working while in the hospital for a week, none of the work for that week had been backed-up yet. The Seagate was home watching the cat.
Needless to say, my hard drive decided it would be nice to go on vacation to Best Buy with it's Geek Squad buddies for some FBI-level data recovery action for three months, only just to not have them save the customized texture files, only the main scene files.
So, the repaint began. And as art tends to do, the image looks very little like the original scene, but I think this one is actually better. If ya'll think I am going to thank all of those people that got me to this final, they are in for a long wait, though, lol. Neither the author nor I were happy with a six month+ delay in completion of the project. THE STRESS!!!

a fine work as usual my friend:)
Well posed image. love the vibrancy of the colors.
Very nice work!!!
a beautiful scene showing the risk of prosecution hiking in the woods ... I love the colors and textures of clothing! Windows blue screens are still worrying signs for hard disks! Must monitor the temperature of hard drives with appropriate software, you must have regular cleaning program windows registry ... you must also spend a day checking anti-virus system ... with these three tips, it decreases risk of failures!
It wasn't the blue ' death' screen, it was a regular windows configuration update screen.
Nice job! You might check with the NSA they probably have copies! ;)
Nice movement for characters and cholthes. We see the distress in face of the second woman who falls.
Very beautiful scene. I like the way the light dapples the grass.

Fantastic work on this scene I can feel the fear they are running from I hope you've invested in at least one external hard drive for backup purposes
I have two, but they were at home and I was in the hospital.
Wonderful image and I really never thought illustration could be fraught with so many ill winds! You have coped magnificently, great job! I will have to bear in mind that seagate apparently can babyset pets also, lol!
got to back every thing up. learn the hard way. very good image
I do back-ups all the time, but I was working while in the hospital and the external was at home.

Super scene and it is a shame your hd glitched out. I pray for your healthy recovery. I do not think prayers will help the computer or I would pray for it too.
