I knew people in Portland who had vacation homes in that area, so you're likely correct. It's so lovely! Looks like that water is running fast, I'll bet the snowmelt raises the level quite a bit.
Whenever I see houses along a river like this I always wonder about flooding. It's not that I have no romance in my soul, it's just that I'm SO practical! LOL!
