in a small cemetery in downtown Dallas near city hall with pioneers of Dallas and Civil war veterans/Texas-Mexico war

I wonder if they will ever fully repair the headstone. In the photo I googled, it was still broken across where the 1881 is.

Sadf that there are "people"? that can't resist vandelism. What, I wonder, was gained by that? We have them here too,monuments with ganf graffti andsacred church items stolen. Once a cross from a local church altar was being pawned, sad world. But an excellent photo, nice to see bits of history.!!!!!
Old graves are always interesting. We have some Civil War and some Revolutionary War soldiers buried here in Holly.
