i find that the lighting is by far the most challenging aspect of the construction of a scene...so i applaud you with the light set up for this scene--you got it down perfectly...nice shadows and highlights without too much contrast works well for this subdued lit scene...her nudity is tastefully handled by covering her with the pillow, which in itself emphasizes her misery. nice touch the overturned chair...

I like a lot about this image - the choice of a circular carpet for instance, and her pose and lighting both are excellent. I have only viewed this on my iPad but the pillow does not look right on it. I thought she was being slimed by a big white slug at first glance - regrettable for sure, but probably not silently endured. Still the somber mood comes thru loud and clear. You are the master at creating pensive atmosphere.

Love the emotion of this piece. It looks as though she had a breakdown..one of those instances where you totally lose control, you're screaming and crying and lashing out...overturned furniture, broken things lying everywhere...and then you collapse, spent, to the floor. Whatever caused her to feel this way must have been very bad indeed, and you did so well capturing it. I love the light too, golden afternoon light....beautiful!! OXOXOXOXOX Jane
