Coming to grips with water in Octane... it can be done... just need a sky.
Not sure who's telling who to bugger off... but I'd love to see the scrap.

I sometimes wonder if you ever sleep. i don't know how you else you could post such intricate, wonderful really, images at such a clip in a day composed of less than 24 hours.
One of those guys can fly..no contest! I can see why a sky would help a lot---waves out in the ocean use that Perlin Noise algorythm, judging from Terragen. This swirlwave is pretty good for a harbor, though I'd be itching to paint a custom bump for it. I love the atmospheric depth you got here!

Beautiful setting and cool characters, would be a interesting scrap.
The water comes out very nicely, but for this one Deane, try adding something in the scene - think banner or pennons - to reinforce that rather notably powerful wind. That will anchor the image more tightly and give some motion to the back 2/3rds. Also, have to agree that a sky would be a plus though complex clouds would hardly be needed. Last thought about the water itself - you might want to tone it down in some areas - that'd more realistically reflect how water looks in a partially enclosed area like that. As it stands -- quite nice!
