I do not know now, but an elderly couple were staying here. once the lady asked me why I was taking pictures and I told her I was taking pictures of the American Buzzard that was on her chimney. she told me that her husband was always trying to scare them away

A cool find....I'm sure there are many tales behind those walls...
nice shot, but take care, soon the husband will try to scare you away as well :-)
Must have been a beautiful home in its day!
I love how the house is have hidden in the trees. And its elegant and creepy at the same time somehow. Very mysterious.
Ho ho........ but looking scary in the Halloween moment . Very nice architecture . But needed some repair ((5++))
My wife would kill for a home like this... also a true story. Beautiful capture Richard and an interesting story.
Are you sure the old buzzard wasn't her husband? Love old homes - probably why I bought this 200 year old farm house.
A really nice capture Richard and I hope she believed you!!
An amazing place & great story!
I also enjoyed the story Richard, and hope they put a coat of paint on it soon ;)
I hope that buzzard isn't waiting for a meal. I would try to scare it away too... Aloha
cool house, kinda creepy looking and suspenceful..
Very nice story and a romantic / beautiful house! I like the many green!
Grand old house. Too bad a local charitable group or church can't take on a project of painting it for the elderly couple [If they can't afford it].
Very nice house and I giggled to your story !
It is only natural for old people to get worried when the buzzards gather over them. Gnarly looking house though. Somebody should volunteer to paint and fix it up a little for them. Good shot!
A perfect place to film a movie. I love old houses.
Nothing a coat of paint won't fix. Beautiful shot.
