Ahhh cool! She was to be a night fighter. Great image. TIP: Often when aircraft enter a dogfight, they will drop thier excess fuel tanks, and discard any (non anti-aircraft) remaining weapons on the external pylons so they dont go boom if shot at. This is because it increases their target profile "kill zone" making them much more vulnerable. I have been keeping my eye out for NA-F82 models and renders. Now I know they are out there... Thanks

Good render. Oliver, Thanks for the mention. @ dreamcutter: It was originally designed as an escort fighter, very long range, and then was modified to be a night fighter. Both versions are covered in my 3d model. I agree with your observation about the drop tanks.
You're both right about the drop tanks, I did it with P-51s in another picture, just forgot here. Keep it up Pedro, I love your models.
