Description
I think I know what I want for Christmas!
This image is to demonstrate that it's possible to be clearly pear shaped without being large.
You may have guessed by now that the pear is my preferred body shape. Around here, though, pear shapes are all too uncommon. It's more typical to see the reverse: women's weight often lands primarily in their neck and shoulders. Kind of a... linebacker shape.
I'm not averse to a true apple shape (small hips, no waist, big belly), but again, in reality the center of gravity is usually quite high. Anybody want to see a relatively slim apple rendering?
By the way, it's been a long time since I've seen an hourglass shape outside of TV and movies.
I can almost hear all the ladies out there in render land saying, "Yeah, well, you're no prize yourself, buster!!" :-)

Very nice!
What a pretty Girl,excellent.
I like what you've done here She looks great
Hmmm.... looks more natural. Sounds like you live in/near an Olympic Village with all the weight distribution like that of a weight lifter (Ms. Universe?). Now try combining the top weight with this pear shape and see what we get. I find these anatomical variations quite interesting (of course, being an anatomist!). True apple shape (small hips, no waist, big belly) is late pregnancy to me (or a big Christmas dinner, or big enema). Would be nice to see your interpretation of slim apple. As for hour glass shapes, you see a lot of them at Rendeosity (and even worse at Rend...ica - I scarce dare mention the name of THAT site!). Fortunately the female variety of strait-jacket (also known as corsett) is out of fashion (you should see what it does to the wearer's liver, stomach and upper colon!). Keep up the good work! :-) T.Rex is contemplating which is tastier, pear pie or apple pie!
Fantastic creation and very great character... Fantastic expression also !
Beautiful shape. One reason you don't see as many hour glass shapes in reality is because of weight gain. When a woman with an hour glass shape gains a lot of weight, especially in her belly, the body shape changes. I think it adds to distribution of weight too. I have an hourglass shape and as I've gained weight over the years, I gain evenly over my whole body, not just in my hips/thighs or bust. But, most people wouldn't look at me as see the typical "hour glass" shape like when I was at a smaller size. I have a friend, that even with some weight gain has a rocking Hour Glass Figure. Also some with great pear and apple too. This is a gorgeous character. Good work.
