Description
Waiting for a taxi. These two caught my eye when they went through 'downtown' Mykonos Town. While everyone, locals and tourists alike, strolled at a leisurely pace, these two walked at a pace as if they were on a mission. Now I know. Their mission was to catch a taxi. Taxis from Mykonos Town can be taken to the small communities, resorts and beaches scattered across the island. But bus service is also available.

An interesting combination of ease and watchfulness. I enjoy watching people waiting for a bus, staring in the direction from which the bus will come, as if vision were the only indicator. Everyone does it ... I do it myself when waiting for a bus! This is a great example of taxi waiting, and a terrific shot.
